rams

Rams in the future
As my last post I am talking about the rams in the future. In 2014 the rams are free to move any where they want, as the San Diego chargers are now. The rams mean a lot to the city of St. Louis if they moved it would hurt the economic side as well, because then people like my ant that work at the ram’s stadium. One other thing we need is not a loss of jobs anywhere in the USA.  The rams in the future might be great because they drafted Michael Brockers a Defensive Tackle out of LSU with the fourteenth pick in the 2012 NFL draft because they started with the second overall pick and traded down to the sixth overall pick because the redskins traded the sixth pick and a forth and sixth rounder for the second overall pick. Then the rams traded down to the fourteenth pick to draft Michael Brockers because they needed a defensive tackle, and they thought Brockers would be the right pick for their defensive scheme since they have Gregg Williams from the New Orleans Saints because they needed a defensive coordinator really bad they had the thirtieth defense overall. The rams in the future I hope will be very successful.

the rams

Top Coach’s
The 4 coaches of the St. Louis rams that I am going to talk to you about are Jeff fisher, Dave McGinnis, Brian Schottenheimer and Paul Boudreau. Let’s start with Jeff fisher; he is the head coach of the St. Louis rams. This is Jeff Fisher first season as head coach of the St. Louis Rams, after being with the Tennessee Titans for 16 years. Next Dave McGinnis, he is the assent head coach of the Rams. This is Dave McGinnis 39 year as a coach; he spent 8 seasons with Tennessee Titans, also working under Jeff Fisher. Third is Brian Schottenheimer he had his previous job at the New York Jets. The time he spent at the New York Jets he helped lead them to a great season. Last season the Jets led the NFL in red zone percentage as they scored touchdowns on 36 of their 55 trips inside their opponents’ 20 yard line. Finally is Paul Boudreau he does the offensive line. Paul Boudreau Enters his 26th NFL season in 2012 as he returns for a second stint with the Rams. He spent the last four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. These are 4 of many coaches the help the Rams.

the rams

Samuel Jacob Bradford is a American football quarterback for the St.  Louis Rams. This team belongs to the NFL with stands for national football league. He was the first overall draft pick of the 2010. Bradford holds the NCAA record for most touchdown passes by a freshman quarterback; with 36 touchdowns in his first NFL season. I chose to write about Sam Bradford because I think that he will bring the rams back in to their grate times. Sam Bradford is a rookie quarter back and most of the time play do not accept rookie because they are young to the game, but Sam Bradford showed that he has what it takes to play in the great American sport of football. As quarter back Sam Bradford dose get a lot of injuries were not talking about boo boos the latest injury that Sam Bradford had was a broken shoulder. That is part of the bad effects of being in the NFL. On the other side I think that the good overwhelms the bad. Some good things evolves you get a lot of money to by nice cars and beautiful houses. Also you have people how love you or diehard fans.

Big Rams Fan

My under dog team is the St. Louis Rams. You might think that “ooo what a bad team”. Let me tell you why they are my under dog team.  I am from St. Louis were the rams live, so that’s a little bit of it. Another reason that I like the St. Louis Rams is I am in SD now and I will never like the Minnesota Vikings. I am sorry to all the diehard Vikings fans, but it will never happen. Sometimes it’s hard to be here and try to stand up for my team when they do not have the best winning records, but I try. I hope that one day soon the rams will get their head in the game and win the super bowl. The last reason that I like the St. Louis rams is me and my dad use to watch the rams when I was little, but when my dad moved we could not see the rams as much. Now my dad lives in Chicago IL. The TV their does not show the rams only the bears. This is my second favorite team by the way.  After this I hope that you change your mind on the rams.

Rams money

The Rams have had a struggle with money all throw their history. When you don’t have a lot of money you can’t get good players as easily. So the Rams have uses the first round drafts pick to get the players that they need. The way that the draft pick works is there are 32 teams and the team in last place gets the best player in the draft. Then there is other ways you can get play one is a team can trade players. Another way is a player can have an agent and you do business with him and get the player. I want to talk about a first round draft pick called Sam Bradford. He broke a record he was the most paid Rams quarter back ever. He has a 78 million dollar contact for 6 years. On his first year he brought the rams to a 7 wins. This does not seem that good but for the rams this is a great season. The rams have aloes dealt with these types of problems. When it come to money they have none, and that’s why the move around a lot. Even though they have a lot of money problems they make it work.

The Rams win?

Today I am going to talk about the rams super bowl win in 2000. Super Bowl XXXIV (the one in 2000) featured the National Football Conference champion the St. Louis Rams (yaaaa) and the American Football Conference champion Tennessee Titans (boo). In an all American football game to decide the National Football League champion for the 1999 season. The Rams (16–3) (grate season by the way) defeated the Titans (16–4), 23–16 (said to be one of the closes super bowl games played) to capture their first Super Bowl win (in St. Louis). This was the first NFL championship win since 1951(which was not won in St. Louis). The game was played on January 30, 2000 (I wonder how the weather was) at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. This was the fourth Super Bowl to be held a week after the conference championship games (wow not a lot time to get ready). The previous time this happened was Super Bowl XXVIII, and this game was also played on January 30 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The rams played hard and they beat the Tennessee Titans (wee haa). With their defense (which use to be 1 of the best) and a little help from Kurt Warner they beat the titans 23-16.

the rams

The Rams started their journey in the great city of Cleveland, Ohio in 1936. Cleveland Rams team was a member of the second American Football League. The NFL granted membership to the owner, the NFL considers it a separate entity since only four of the players (William "Bud" Cooper, Harry and Mike Sebastian) and none of the team's management joined the new NFL team.
The team next became known as the Los Angeles Rams after the club moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1946, not competing with Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns of the All-America Football Conference. In the 1979 season, the Rams moved south to the suburbs in nearby Orange County. Playing their home games at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim for fifteen seasons, but they kept the Los Angeles name.
The Rams next moved to St. Louis in 1995 after having 2 super bowls under their belt. They had a new stadium in the middle of St. Louis for the Rams. The Rams would go on to the super bowl number XXXIV and win to the Tennessee Titans. This was a very exciting fight to the death but the rams tried their hardest, and they pulled through after a very difficult history. For more info go to this website.
