The Rams win?

Today I am going to talk about the rams super bowl win in 2000. Super Bowl XXXIV (the one in 2000) featured the National Football Conference champion the St. Louis Rams (yaaaa) and the American Football Conference champion Tennessee Titans (boo). In an all American football game to decide the National Football League champion for the 1999 season. The Rams (16–3) (grate season by the way) defeated the Titans (16–4), 23–16 (said to be one of the closes super bowl games played) to capture their first Super Bowl win (in St. Louis). This was the first NFL championship win since 1951(which was not won in St. Louis). The game was played on January 30, 2000 (I wonder how the weather was) at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. This was the fourth Super Bowl to be held a week after the conference championship games (wow not a lot time to get ready). The previous time this happened was Super Bowl XXVIII, and this game was also played on January 30 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The rams played hard and they beat the Tennessee Titans (wee haa). With their defense (which use to be 1 of the best) and a little help from Kurt Warner they beat the titans 23-16.

the rams

The Rams started their journey in the great city of Cleveland, Ohio in 1936. Cleveland Rams team was a member of the second American Football League. The NFL granted membership to the owner, the NFL considers it a separate entity since only four of the players (William "Bud" Cooper, Harry and Mike Sebastian) and none of the team's management joined the new NFL team.
The team next became known as the Los Angeles Rams after the club moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1946, not competing with Paul Brown's Cleveland Browns of the All-America Football Conference. In the 1979 season, the Rams moved south to the suburbs in nearby Orange County. Playing their home games at Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim for fifteen seasons, but they kept the Los Angeles name.
The Rams next moved to St. Louis in 1995 after having 2 super bowls under their belt. They had a new stadium in the middle of St. Louis for the Rams. The Rams would go on to the super bowl number XXXIV and win to the Tennessee Titans. This was a very exciting fight to the death but the rams tried their hardest, and they pulled through after a very difficult history. For more info go to this website.
